Commitment to community
As a small business in a small community, we always try to work with other local businesses and trades in our community. Where and when we can we try to use local small businesses for subcontracted services (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Roofing etc) and always try to utilize smaller locally owned businesses for materials and supplies over large box stores / and large manufacturers. Specifically smaller hardware stores, plumbing stores, window & door companies, roofing and siding services, and paint and decor stores.
Annually we try to organise a charitable contribution around Christmas. We previously organized and provided 100 Christmas Dinners for those in need through local services and organizations including Saint Vincent de Paul in Midland, Georgian Bay native friendship Center, the local food bank and The Georgian Bay Metis council. We provided 100 boxes that consisted of a turkey or ham, canned corn, local potatoes and carrots, gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffing mix
